Gold Wimpy Extras

Yeah, I know that’s a horrible title, but you can’t be perfect every time.

So, the Creators have done two new posts.  The first one is basically making fun of non-members, cause they can’t play Poptropolis Games yet.  Somehow, that’s not that shocking that the Creators would do a post like that.

Going for the gold

The good thing about the Poptropolis Games is that you don’t need to place first in every event in order to win the gold medallion. The winner of the Games is the one with the best overall performance, which means you can have a few clunkers and still come out on top.

It’s a good thing, too! Some of these events are tough. I laid an egg on the pole vault the last time I played.

Some of you may have already won the gold medallion, but has anybody out there placed first in every single event? That’s a feat we’d love to see!

Remember, Poptropolis Games is open to Members now. It will be available for everyone to play on June 14.

The second post is about the info-page for Wimpy Boardwalk and the extras that the Bearators were to lazy to put on the info-page right away.

Wimpy Boardwalk extras now available!

We’re making a splash to start the summer. Now, when you visit the Wimpy Boardwalk info page, you can download a new desktop wallpaper and printable poster!

Wimpy Boardwalk is coming soon to Poptropica. Keep reading our blog for the latest news!

Well, that’s about it for now.

Oh, and sorry about posting two times in a row.  I hope that it’s not a federal crime or anything.

2 Down, 2 To Go

The Creators decided to bring us out of the dark (well, actually only partly out of the dark, but who cares about technicalities besides myself), cause they’ve started to tell us what the names of the tribes are!  They’ve only announced two so far, and one is awesome.  The other is well…terrible okay…I guess…

The Tribes of Poptropica: Flying Squid

Last week we gave you a teaser image of some of the tribes of Poptropica. This week, we’ll introduce you properly. Without further ado, say hello to…

Flying Squid

This tribe hopes to have more than an inkling of victory in the Poptropolis Games.

We’ll unveil the rest of the tribes throughout the week!

Yeah.  I guess you could tell that this is the okay one.  By the way, if any of you actually do like this one, I’m not trying to hurt your feelings or anything.  I just think that the next one is much better than this one.

Anyway, here’s the awesome one!

The Tribes of Poptropica: Seraphim

Continuing our look at the tribes of Poptropica, say hello to…

Seraphim

This tribe will rise and fall on the wings of their dreams. Maybe you can help them achieve such great heights!

That’s my tribe right there, peeps!

Um.  One question, though.  What does “seraphim” mean?

Update By Brave Tomato: I googled it and I found this:

Seraphim (pl, n): An angelic being, regarded in traditional Christian angelology as belonging to the highest order of the ninefold celestial hierarchy

Well… the Creators have gone a little religious there, haven’t they? Well, the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series DID….

*transmission lost before Brave Tomato got a chance to finish for some reason. After all, it isn’t her post.*

Eternally Burning… Fun Stuff.

Who doesn’t want to burn in a fire for forever? *sarcasm. heavy sarcasm*

But, some fires do burn forever. Wouldn’t want to start one of these in your house. In your wooden house, ‘specially.

This, kids, is why you never play with matches. Well, I play with matches, but I end up crying. They really can start fires. I thought grown ups were bluffing, but those little suckas can start fires.

Is this burning an eternal flame?

Well, probably not. It’s hard for a flame to burn at the bottom of the ocean. But when the city of Poptropolis re-surfaces every 100 years, the ceremonial torch burns for as long as the competitive fires do!

Hmm, do I detect fire? Oh, duh, of course I do. Fire. In Poptropolis Games. I wonder if we get matches. I make bad choices with fire.
So, until later, I’ll… I smell smoke.
*fire alarm*
Umm… Well, I’ll be evacuating my house, and clearing all the evidence before the police see I started this thing…

Gotta Get Down on Friday!

Friday, Friday, gotta get down on Friday,

eve’rybody’s lookin’ forward to the weekend, weekend

Friday, Friday-

Shiny Mosquito: Ewww! Friday reference!

Super Thunder: Jump off a cliff, SM.

Shiny Mosquito: No.

But, there was a Friday reference on the Poptropica Creators’ Blog. The Creators are turning modern… This isn’t good. We need to keep them on typewriters. While we reign over technology!

*evil laugh*

Overkill? Fine then. But the Creators made, um, a useless post to tell us that… They’re gonna do nothin’ all weekend. Well, they could have at least said they were gonna, I don’t know, go watch Phantom or go bungee jumping. But, well, logic never wins.

Am I the only one that’s all like “Umm… Okay…?” right now?
Well, to finish of a pointless post, I excuse myself to go watch Love Never Dies…
Are you ready for Poptropolis Games?
