News out of this world and out of their minds!

First off, Lunar Colony is now available to everyone! 😀

That’s right: Lunar Colony is now available for all to play. Don’t waste your time sitting around reading blog posts! Visit Poptropica now to play Lunar Colony!

Secondly, lately, everywhere I look, I get that reminder that HEY, we’re gonna go into these villain’s minds and possibly be trapped by their dreams!

They’re practically everywhere!

My reaction when I saw these:

Oh, I just found one more…

Hold on, hold on, hold on a second! Let’s zoom that one out.

*record scratch*

😮 😮 😮

The set release date for the game is November 6th, 2012! *squee!!!*

This is bringing Poptropica to a whole new level. You see, I think Club Penguin used to be the only kid’s online virtual world with a DS game companion (lemme know if there are any others…) Not anymore! Poptropica’s getting some publicity. I mean, it already has with its toys and game cards and kids meals laying around, but still!

Here’s what the promotional stuff says:

The Poptropica museum is in ruins and needs your help! Explore three amazing
islands and find missing artifacts to help restore the museum to its former
glory. Meet interesting characters, collect artifacts, solve puzzles and play
mini games in the ultimate on-the-go Poptropica experience!! Looking to stand out in a crowd ? Customize the look of your avatar with new clothes, hats, hairstyles and more and show off your own unique Poptropica style!

  • Explore an amazing world – Run and jump through three amazing Poptropica islands.
  • Create a character all your own! – Customize the look of your avatar with new clothes, hats, hair styles and more!
  • Build a collection like no other – Find gadgets and items as you progress in the game and complete your quests.
  • Mini game challenges – Complete the quests and unlock a host of minigames that provide more challenges and variety.

I hope that one of the clothing options is my precious star…

And also, here are a couple of pictures…

Poptropica Adventures

blink blink* *looks closer at characters* Umm…

Erm.. Those are different looking Poptropicans… but it’s still a video game!!

It’s kinda obvious what two of the three Islands will be from these pics: Mythology and Astro-Knights. But it’s not so obvious what the third will be. The cover isn’t much help. Although the cover has Zeus, the fire planet knight, and the Binary Bard *glares*… both Sir Rebral and that popular spy guy are on it as well. Is it Super Power or Spy??????

Non-members, enjoy Lunar Colony! Meanwhile, nonmembers and members alike have to wait to get information on what’s coming up next, whether it’s the horrid nightmare of 4 (announced) returning villains in 30th island Super Villain Island, the sweet, pure imagination of a plausible Wonka quest, or the interactive, portable experience of Poptropica Adventures. My oh my, a lot is happening!

BT out!

The First Ten Astronauts

As you probably know, Lunar Colony was released this past Thursday.  It was pretty good in my opinion.  Not the absolute best ever, but a lot better than some of the more recent islands.

Anyway, since you probably don’t care what I thought about it I’ll just move on with the post.  Just like they always do, the Creators have released a list of the first ten people to finish Lunar Colony.  And, just like always, I’m not on the list…

Congratulations to the first 10 finishers of Lunar Colony!

Poptropica Members are unlocking the secrets of the cosmos in Lunar Colony. These 10 Poptropicans were the first to do it.

1. Gentle Starfish
2. Scary Star
3. Blue Scorpion
4. Scary Typhoon
5. Shaky Typhoon
6. Magic Fish

7. Friendly Cheetah
8. Silver Ninja
9. Shoeless Eagle
10. Zippy Dragon

Congratulations to you all!

I thought that I was going to make it this time.  I thought that I was going to be one of the first ten finishers.  Everything was going great…until I got stuck after the first few minutes of playing it.  And then when I finally got un-stuck, I got re-stuck a few seconds after.  I don’t know what it was about that island, I just could not do it.  And the thing is, if you do a few things out of order then your basically just going to sit there confused about what to do next.  So, yeah, I ended up having to look up a guide to it.  I know, pretty pathetic.  Oh, well, there’s always the next island…
