New in the Poptropica store, Members can get their exclusive Super Villain Island gear! You can look extra evil with the Night Hare costume, summon one of four Evil Henchmen with the push of a button, and use the Sleeping Powder to send everyone onscreen to the Land of Nod! These exclusive items are available only to Poptropica Members. If you’re not yet a Member, find out how to get Membership today. And keep an eye out for Super Villain Island, coming soon to Poptropica!
The evil henchmen may not be a follower like I thought, but at least I have this thing to use as a follower!! ^_^
The second piece of news is even bigger: the release date of Super Villain Island (aaaaaaaahh!) has been released!

We’re happy to announce that Super Villain Island will be available to Poptropica Members on Thursday, September 27! Get ready for the Poptropica adventure of your dreams — or maybe your nightmares… Find out how to become a Poptropica Member so you can play Super Villain Island the moment it’s available!
Mark your calenders with happiness and terror, members, cause the nightmare is just around the corner! (and I’m not just talking about Halloween).
Before I switch the topic to today’s post, recently, I found out a couple of media references that led to Dr. Hare.
Ever heard of the movie, Harvey?
It’s about this guy who has an invisible friend in the form of a 6-foot-rabbit named Harvey.
(c) Harvey is copyrighted by Universal
Now, this poster may be familiar to those who has been doing Pop Quizzes like crazy…
And that’s not all! According to the Poptropica Creators, supposedly, Dr. Hare’s first name is Harvey! (see PCB post Dr. Hare for best villain!
Moving on from movie references, we now have another case of Applebee’s insanity!

We have two pieces of news today that are so exciting that I don’t know which one to share first. Let’s see… eenie, meanie, miney, moe… All right, got it. Poptropica is back at Applebee’s! From now until November 10, when your family eats at a participating Applebee’s restaurant, you’ll get a new Poptropica activity book that will keep you entertained even when the adults start talking about boring stuff. Plus, each menu has a special code that you can enter to get an Applebee’s-themed costume and power for your Poptropican! (Not sure how to redeem a code for your Poptropican? Find out here.) The second bit of important news: Today is International Talk Like a Pirate Day! Do your old pal Captain Crawfish a favor and spend the rest of the day rolling your Rs and calling for grog. Off ye go, mateys!
Look, CC, I’m not a pirate. You’re the only character out of the returning four I couldn’t come up with a voice for! Every time I try and think of a voice, it turns out to be one of those “jolly pirate” voices! *facepalm*
Now, I have a couple of more Daily Pops to share…
Super Villain Island Daily Pop:
That’s Captain Crawfish’s… um… sleep chamber to the left!
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Daily Pops:
Rescuing Augustus Gloop from the chocolate river. Fun. -_-
“To the Podium: The star of the show, coming soon.” Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka, he’s the one that we’re about to meet! Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka, he’s the one that can’t be beat! A magician and a chocolate whiz, the best darn guy who ever lived, Willy Wonka…. where is he?! And why do the floors have to be the Binary Bard’s colors…? -_-
Looks like we’re going to meet a rather different set of friends in that room….
Unknown City-Related Island Daily Pops:
“We only need the broad strokes when laying out the scenes.” What do you mean???
America runs on Dunkin. Poptropica runs on Donut Hole Joe’s.
Well, this was a mecha-post. Yeah. A lot of cuh-razy stuff has been happening. Yeah.
